Role & responsibilities
Experience in Mainframe Db2 v12/ v13 Database System-Administration on z/OS
DB2 installation, upgrade, patching, configuration and operations
Proficiency in DB2, VSAM Systems Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning
Experience in Data Sharing setup in Parallel Sysplex environment
Knowledge in ACF2/RACF, CICS v5.5, Mainframe MQ v9
Experience in SMPE and ISV tools installation and migration
Database DR, Cloning, Backup/Recovery, HA and Point In Time Recovery (PITR) expertise
Experience with Database ISV Tools and Products like OmegaMon and AdminTool
Application related performance tuning; Write, modify, and debug database specific SQL queries
DBA related utilities like Unload, Load, DSNJU003, DSNJU004,Reorg, Runstats, image copy
REXX, CLIST, JCL, JES and Assembler knowledge
