Job Title: Developer - Platform/Product Designation: Web Module Lead

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Developer - Platform/Product to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad_Phoenix. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Mainframe IMS DBA, enabling them to effectively manage and optimize our database systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the development and enhancement of our platform and product offerings while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions using Mainframe IMS.
• Implement database management best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, conducting regular health checks and tuning as necessary.
• Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
• Document database architecture, processes, and procedures for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to database management and development.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Mainframe IMS DBA.
• Proficiency in database design, implementation, and management.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery processes in a Mainframe environment.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other database management systems (DBMS) is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in database management or related technologies are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
