Job Overview
We are looking for a Mainframe I/O Configuration Administrator responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting IBM Z mainframe I/O configurations, processor upgrades, hardware implementations, and enterprise storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain I/O configurations.
- Support processor upgrades and CPC activations.
- Configure channels, control units, DASD, tape, and FICON infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain IOCDS definitions.
- Support data center relocations and site swaps.
- Coordinate hardware implementation activities.
- Validate production IPL readiness.
