What they need
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage mainframe systems, including IBM Z Series (ZOS) and RACF environments.
- Provide technical support for various applications running on mainframes, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems.
- Collaborate with development teams to design, develop, test, and deploy new software releases for mainframe platforms.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures related to access control, data protection, and system maintenance.
Job Requirements :
- 4-9 years of experience in managing mainframe systems or similar computing environments.
- Strong understanding of IBM's System z architecture and operating systems (e.g., z/OS).
- Experience working with RACF (Resource Area Control Facility) security management tools.
- Familiarity with application development languages such as COBOL or PL/I.
