Job DescriptionInfoMarines Inc. is seeking experienced Mainframe Software Testers to support quality assurance, functional testing, integration testing, and production validation of mission-critical IRS Masterfiles applications.The ideal candidate will have experience testing IBM ALC, COBOL, and Java applications in enterprise mainframe environments, including batch processing, data validation, and defect management.Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing for mainframe applications.
• Validate IBM ALC, COBOL, and Java applications operating in z/OS environments.
• Test JCL batch jobs, VSAM/DB2 data processing, file transfers, and reconciliation processes.
• Support IRS IMF/BMF processing applications, including Pre-Posting, Posting & Analysis, TDOL, Notices, NCMS, and MIS.
• Execute iSAT and SAT testing activities and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, track, retest, and validate software defects.
• Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), test scripts, and execution reports.
• Support production defect investigations, P1/P2 incident resolution, and release readiness.
• Work with DB2, SQL, JCL, Endevor, RTC/JIRA, TSO/ISPF, and File Manager.
• Prepare test summary reports, document risks, and recommend release readiness.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience.
• Minimum 4 years of IBM ALC programming experience.
• Experience testing mainframe applications involving COBOL, Java, and ALC.
• Experience with DB2, SQL, JCL, batch processing, and IRS processing systems.
• Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and system testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Security Requirements

• Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card holder for at least three years).
• Must be Federal Tax compliant.
• Must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance.
• Active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus.
