Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Systems Administrator with hands-on experience with Unisys ClearPath Libra/MCP systems. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing large-scale mainframe environments, including system configuration, installation, and ongoing support. Collaborate closely across Operations, Technology, and Development teams to drive system performance, security, and modernization initiatives, playing a vital part in supporting enterprise payments infrastructure.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with Unisys ClearPath Libra hardware installation and configuration, including OPS console, System Editor, OC Manager, network, and storage connectivity
• Hands-on knowledge of Unisys ClearPath Software Series VM system installation and configuration
• Strong understanding of integration between Windows servers, Linux servers, and Unisys mainframe environments
• System programming skills, including table/bit manipulation, messaging, queuing, database management, and disk I/O
• Experience with mainframe network concepts such as TCP/IP routing, Libra network configuration, and Win RPC
• Ability to interpret system and program dumps, and routine log analysis using tools like LOGANALYZER
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Unisys MCP environment utilities such as DMSII, COMS, CCF, Security Center, System Assistant, NX/Services, OLEDB, Secure-Transport, and Log Analyzer
• Knowledge of mainframe storage solutions, EMC SAN arrays, and Cisco MDS switching
• Cloud computing experience, particularly with AWS and Microsoft Azure

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Extensive experience in systems configuration, programming, and integration within mainframe environments

Other Requirements:

• Ability to coordinate on-site with a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite)
• Knowledge of Unisys software patching, system compilation, and incident documentation procedures
