Mainframe Tester

5+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance roles with functional and automation testing experience in Mainframe

Experience in AS400/ mainframe based applications is mandatory

API Testing solid hands-on experience with API integration tests

Experience in Web Services and API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured

Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber.js, Java test automation frameworks – demonstrated competency in developing, auditing and reviewing code

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Azure DevOps and Jenkins

Knowledge of testing integrations, end-to-end system processes

Hands on experience in mortgages domain would be preferred

Discovering, reproducing, prioritizing, retesting, and documenting software defects

Knowledge of managing test strategies, test data, defect management and quality assurance best practices

Comfortable with operating in a hybrid role involving manual and automated testing tasks General Requirements:

Interest in taking ownership on products and projects

Designing, writing, and executing effective manual and automated test cases, as well as creating test data

Creating detailed technical documentation for test procedures

Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges

Possess excellent communication and people skills

Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and think outside the box

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process The candidate will be based at offshore, but work with stakeholders in Australia, New Zealand, Philippines and India. The candidate should be able to start the day early (latest by 6 am IST) and align with the NSW public holidays.
