Maintainer

Job Requirements

• Ability to solve most maintenance issues

• Skilled in a broad range of maintenance disciplines

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

• 1–2 years of experience with basic maintenance of low-pressure hot water boiler systems

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Work on maintenance projects

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance for historic buildings, including:

• Carpentry

• Electrical work

• Masonry

• Painting

• Availability for emergency response duties

• Have a flexible schedule to include weekend, evenings and holidays

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in maintenance
• Familiarity with the operation of power and hand tools
• A valid driver’s license in good standings is required
• Willingness to work outdoors under all weather conditions
• Ability to work alone and with others in a team-based organization
• Certification in construction preferred not required

Benefits, Salary And Schedule This position is under a collective bargaining agreement.

• Full-time; Non-exempt
• 5 days a week. 35 hours a week; Weekend rotation and split days off
• Annual Salary: $53,997
