Maintenance Worker Our Families Matter..Help Create a Safe, Clean, and Welcoming Space! $17.82/Hour THE ROLE Win is seeking a dependable problem solver and hands-on Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep, safety, and appearance of our shelter facilities. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and cleaning activities to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

What You Will Do

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections throughout the facility and grounds.
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces, including snow and ice removal.
• Repair furniture, appliances, equipment, doors, locks, and other building components.
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and sheetrock repairs.
• Conduct unit inspections and perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Inspect, maintain, and replace smoke and carbon monoxide detectors as needed.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance of heating and air conditioning units.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and complete additional duties as assigned.

Who You Will Be

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience performing building maintenance, repairs, custodial services, or related work preferred.
• Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs throughout the workday.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning products, maintenance materials, and other hazardous substances while using proper protective equipment.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions.
