Position: Maintenance Administrative Assistant

Type: Full-time

Pay: The pay range starts at $22.00, depending on experience

Location: Alaska Central Express – Anchorage, AK

Job Summary

The administrative assistant will act as the first point of contact for the Maintenance-related inquiries from employees.

Key responsibilities include maintaining maintenance personnel files, managing departmental documentation, and updating internal databases. The ideal candidate possesses strong administrative skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner. This position also supports the management team throughout the recruitment and hiring process for new maintenance personnel, including coordinating onboarding activities and maintaining employment records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Organize and maintain maintenance personnel files and records.

2. Manage department documents and update internal databases.

3. Serve as the primary contact for maintenance-related administrative inquiries.

4. Assist the management team with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new maintenance personnel.

5. Coordinate employee-related paperwork and maintain accurate employee record.

6. Assist with travel, lodging, and transportation arrangements for MX dept as required.

7. Process employee status and pay changes.

8. Maintain schedule and timekeeping.
