What they need
- Building Operations & Maintenance: Supervise daily upkeep and repairs for critical systems including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical, plumbing, and mechanical infrastructure.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Design and execute routine inspection schedules and preventive care plans to reduce unexpected equipment downtime and extend asset lifespans.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Source, negotiate, and monitor service contracts with external providers for specialized repairs, cleaning, landscaping, and security.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all facilities adhere to local building codes, environmental laws, and occupational health and safety standards.
- Budget & Resource Control: Monitor operating expenses, track utility consumption, manage inventory spare parts, and plan funding for facility upgrades or capital projects.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise in-house technicians, custodians, and maintenance staff, assigning work orders and evaluating performance.
