Grounds & Maintenance Operative
Location: Heads of Ayr Holiday Park, Ayr, South Ayrshire
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: avg 41hrs per week (Saturday mornings required during peak season on a rota basis)

Join the friendly and growing team at Heads of Ayr Holiday Park - one of Ayrshire’s most scenic holiday destinations. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Grounds & Maintenance Operative to help keep our park looking its best all year round.

What You’ll Do:

• Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, and joinery tasks
• Maintain park grounds: grass cutting, hedge trimming, and garden care
• Support with siting and de-siting caravans and lodges
• Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance
• Perform hot tub checks and ensure safety standards
• Maintain park buildings and communal areas
• Work both independently and as part of a team

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, or landscaping
• Ability to use mowers, tow vehicles, and operate tractors
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and safe working practices
• Full UK driving licence (required)
• Experience in a holiday park or hospitality setting is a bonus, but not essential – full training provided
• A trade is preferred but not essential
