Maintenance and Grounds Support

With a foundation built on connection with our families, team, and the communities we operate in, Kindikids inspires minds and nurtures futures. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance, Grounds team members to join our extraordinarily strong facilities team.

There is an opportunity for a casual Maintenance and Grounds Support who will be based between our Edensor Park, Ryde, and Five Dock locations. Some early starts and weekend work may be required at times.

About the role:

• Working with the Facilities Manager to maintain and repair the facilities of all services.
• Upkeep, care and maintenance of all facility grounds.
• Ensuring the services exceed the expectations and needs of the staff, children, families, and the local community.
• Ensuring compliant operation of each service as it relates to facilities, maintenance, and grounds in accordance with relevant Acts, Laws and regulations including but not limited to the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Act 2010.
• Fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, respect, and empowerment
• Effective relationships with all stakeholders across all services.

Successful applicants will:

• Possesses experience using hand and electrical tools.
• Have a strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Possesses analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Has an ability to work well as part of a collaborative team.
• Have experience in the building industry (desirable).
• Hold a trade qualification (desirable).
• Possess a current valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
• You will need to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Check.

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
