Maintenance & Grounds Technician

Overview

Join our team as a Maintenance & Grounds Technician, where your expertise will keep our environment safe, functional, and inviting. In this energized role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of building systems, grounds, and facilities equipment. Duties

• Complete resident maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general apartment repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and hardware repairs
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including turnover repairs and punch-list items
• Inspect and maintain common areas, building systems, and property grounds
• Assist with preventive maintenance and identify repair needs before they become larger issues
• Perform minor appliance repairs and replacements as needed
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Assist with snow removal, grounds maintenance, and seasonal property needs
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations as required
• Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and materials used
• Follow property safety procedures and management policies

Requirements

• Previous apartment, residential, or building maintenance experience preferred
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic building repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and work independently
• Reliable, punctual, and able to prioritize multiple work orders
• Professional when interacting with residents and management
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working indoors and outdoors
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
