Maintenance & Service Technician

The Opportunity:
Revo Fitness is expanding, and we’re seeking a Maintenance & Service Technician to play a vital role in the upkeep of our facilities and equipment. You will be responsible for performing repairs, installations, and servicing of gym equipment and vending machines, ensuring the highest standards of functionality and safety. This role offers variety, from basic carpentry to troubleshooting equipment, and directly impacts the experience for both members and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facility Repairs and Maintenance: Perform a variety of repairs, including patching, painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other general maintenance tasks, ensuring all club facilities are safe, clean, and fully functional.
• Gym Equipment Installation and Servicing: Safely deliver, install, and relocate gym equipment across clubs. Perform regular servicing and maintenance to ensure equipment is operating at peak efficiency and aligned with safety standards.
• Preventive Maintenance of Equipment and Systems: Carry out routine preventative maintenance on gym equipment, which helps extend the lifespan of assets and reduce costly downtime.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Quickly identify and resolve issues with gym equipment and vending machines, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and a seamless experience for members.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the Facilities & Warehouse Manager, as well as Operations teams, to prioritise and schedule maintenance visits, ensuring club downtime is minimised while optimising efficiency across all tasks.
• Inventory and Supply Management: Manage the inventory of supplies for building, plumbing, and electrical repairs, ensuring stock levels are consistently maintained and that materials are available for scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Technical Support and Staff Training: Provide on-the-job technical support and training to staff, ensuring they understand proper equipment maintenance procedures and safety standards, and empowering them to maintain equipment efficiently.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Trade qualifications in Carpentry, Plumbing, or Restricted Electrical are preferred, but not essential.
• A valid C-Class driver’s license, Construction White Card, are essential for the role.
• Previous experience in a trades or maintenance role is essential, with a strong understanding of facility repairs and equipment servicing.
• Excellent ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work efficiently to meet operational needs and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to apply for a Traffic Infringement Check through a relevant provider and to ensure the successful candidate can perform these tasks safely, a pre-employment medical assessment is required.
