Our mission for this role

Keep APT operations running smoothly by maintaining the facility inside and out, caring for facility-related systems, and supporting production equipment—all while upholding Customer, AS9100, and regulatory standards.

Your impact

• Execute routine maintenance and repair tasks with hand and power tools to enhance reliability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine root causes and implement fixes.
• Coordinate maintenance programs, projects, and daily priorities with the Director of Manufacturing Services & the Lead Maintenance Technician.
• Recommend supplies and materials needed to complete maintenance activities efficiently.
• Monitor equipment condition and overall operations effectiveness across APT.
• Support production activities when needed and drive the company van or assist with other authorized APT business activities as required.
• Model safe, technically sound practices and communicate respectfully with all team members while following APT policies and procedures.

Grow your skills

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with a solid base of broad maintenance capabilities.
• Added advantage: training or certifications in PLCs, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Welding (skills fundamental to day-to-day operations are a plus).

Work environment

• Move freely throughout the shop floor; standing for extended periods is required.
• Wear safety glasses at all times on the shop floor; use a hard hat and steel-toe boots when appropriate.

Compensation

• Pay is based on experience.
