MAINTENANCE (ASAP)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance to join the team at RVD FOOD GROUP on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our operations in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained to the highest standards, contributing directly to the smooth and efficient running of our business. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, functional, and well-organised work environment for all staff and clients.

What you'll be doing

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine maintenance inspections on all facilities, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues before they become problems
• Conducting preventative maintenance on machinery, fixtures, and building infrastructure to extend their lifespan and reduce downtime
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from staff members, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
• Carrying out repairs to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, doors, locks, and other building components as needed
• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs completed, and materials used
• Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant with relevant health and safety standards
• Liaising with external contractors and suppliers when specialist services are required
• Monitoring inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as necessary
• Conducting safety checks and identifying potential hazards within the facility
• Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting efficiency enhancements and cost-saving measures

What we're looking for

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills, qualifications, and experience:

• Proven experience in maintenance or handyperson services, with a track record of successfully managing facility maintenance
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to diagnose and resolve issues independently
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights where required
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and best practices
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in maintenance, electrical work, or plumbing are highly desirable
