Maintenance Assistant

The Crowne Plaza Queenstown is located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu in the heart of New Zealand's South Island.  Our 4.5-star hotel is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.

Your day-to-day

You’ll work both independently and as part of a small team, supporting the daily maintenance of our 139-room hotel, bar, restaurant, and associated areas. In our hotel & a well-equipped workshop, you’ll take on a variety of hands-on tasks, gaining valuable experience across hotel operations and building services.

What you'll need

• Prior handyman or trades experience. Whether its electrical, plumbing, building - it's all useful!
• Flexibility - you are required to be available for rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong communication skills! You will be building working relationships with people across the hotel team and interacting with guests
