Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to assist the maintenance team in the day-to-day upkeep and smooth functioning of the hospital facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team in routine maintenance and repair activities.
• Attend to maintenance requests received from various departments.
• Assist technicians during electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance works.
• Carry and arrange maintenance tools, equipment, and materials as required.
• Help in shifting and arranging furniture, equipment, and other items.
• Report damaged fixtures, fittings, plumbing issues, electrical problems, and other maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
• Assist in keeping maintenance areas, tools, and materials clean and organized.
• Support preventive maintenance activities as instructed by the Maintenance In-charge.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requirements within the hospital.
• Follow hospital safety, cleanliness, and infection-control guidelines.
• Maintain proper care of hospital property and equipment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance In-charge or management.

Qualification & Requirements

• Qualification: 10th / Plus Two or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance, hospital, hotel, facility management, or a similar environment will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of maintenance-related work is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to perform routine support activities.
• Should be punctual, responsible, and hardworking.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Pay: ₹12,774.36 - ₹20,000.00 per month
