Job Purpose

To support the Maintenance Team in the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the resort, with practical knowledge of plumbing, networking, electrical, and general maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to daily maintenance complaints and breakdowns promptly.
• Carry out plumbing works, including water leakage, taps, pipes, drainage, washroom fittings, and related repairs.
• Handle basic networking works, including LAN cables, network points, routers, switches, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Assist with electrical maintenance such as lights, switches, sockets, wiring, MCBs, and basic electrical repairs.
• Assist with maintenance of ACs, fans, pumps, motors, and other equipment.
• Inspect guest rooms, staff areas, public areas, kitchens, and other facilities for maintenance issues.
• Identify faults, damages, leakages, and technical issues and report them to the Maintenance In-Charge.
• Support preventive maintenance and regular servicing of equipment.
• Assist external technicians and service vendors whenever required.
• Maintain and handle tools and maintenance equipment properly.
• Ensure the work area is clean and safe after completing maintenance work.
• Maintain basic records of maintenance complaints, repairs, materials used, and pending works.
• Provide maintenance support during events and emergencies when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and company rules.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management, Project Manager, or Maintenance In-Charge.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Networking, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Must have practical knowledge of plumbing and networking.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and general maintenance works.
• Knowledge of LAN cabling, network points, routers, switches, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Ability to identify and rectify basic plumbing issues independently.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with the Maintenance Team.
• Willingness to attend emergency maintenance requirements when necessary.
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, commercial property, or similar establishment will be an advantage.

Key Requirements

Plumbing: Must be able to independently handle basic plumbing repairs, leakage, drainage, fittings, and water-related issues.

Networking: Must have hands-on knowledge of LAN cabling, network points, routers, switches, and basic connectivity troubleshooting.

Electrical: Should have basic knowledge of electrical maintenance and be able to assist the Maintenance In-Charge in electrical works.

General Maintenance: Should be capable of handling day-to-day repair and maintenance requirements within the property.
