Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for an experienced and motivated maintenance assistant to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY.

Maintenance assistant position details:

We are hiring for a Full Time (37.5 hours/week) position. The scheduled hours will be Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. Must have availability to work 1-2 weekends a month and on holidays.

Maintenance assistant job duties include:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed.
• Perform preventive maintenance audits as directed.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the facility.
• Promptly answers and responds to emergency situations as first responders.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor no matter how minor they may be.
• Aid with valet parking of residents’ automobiles.
• Use the department radios to communicate with other maintenance technicians and promptly respond.
• Prepare written reports as necessary.

Maintenance assistant qualifications:

• Three (3) years of maintenance related employment is preferred.
• Must have basic maintenance knowledge including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
