Maintenance Assistant - part time

Waikanae Top 10 Holiday Park is looking for a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to help keep our park well maintained and running smoothly this summer.

This role is fixed-term for approximately 6 months (subject to start date availability) to cover the busy season.

Our park has 51 accommodation units, a swimming pool, extensive communal facilities and large grounds with over 100 powered sites. It’s a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

What the role involves:

·        Grounds maintenance and small projects.

·        Plumbing repairs, painting and building washes.

·        Pool cleaning and waste management.

·        Working through our preventative maintenance programme.

·        Repairs on hire gear (pedal karts and kayaks) and linen runs on the camp motorbike.

What we’re looking for:

·        Experience in commercial property maintenance or a relevant trade background.

·        Good technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

·        A sharp eye for detail. You spot what needs doing and get on with it.

·        Someone who takes pride in their work and ownership of the job.

·        Able to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Must be available to work weekends and public holidays.
