About the Opportunity
A leading mining services contractor is seeking an energetic, hands-on Maintenance Clerk / Workshop TA to join their maintenance team on a busy mining operation.

This is a versatile, fast-paced hybrid role combining workshop administration, parts procurement, and hands-on Trades Assistant support. If you have a solid maintenance background, strong computer skills, and are comfortable moving between desk duties and the workshop floor, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Parts & Procurement: Sourcing, ordering, tracking, and receipting parts and consumables for the maintenance workshop.
• Maintenance Admin: Managing logs, records, and work orders using the supplied laptop.
• On-the-Ground Coordination: Staging parts and tooling, organizing daily work priorities, and assisting the workshop supervisors.
• Hands-on TA Support: Providing general maintenance and TA support to fitters and the wider mechanical team.
• Logistics & Yard Duties: Operating the forklift to unload, store, and distribute parts and heavy equipment around the yard.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven background in a Maintenance, Workshop Admin, or TA all-rounder role within the mining sector (essential).
• Licences & Tickets:
  • Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver’s Licence.
  • Current High Risk Forklift (LF) Ticket.
• Computer Literacy: Strong computer skills (purchasing/maintenance systems, email, spreadsheets).
• Attributes: Reliable, self-motivated, proactive, with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
• Compliance: Able to pass a comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen.
