Maintenance – Full-Time

Position Summary
Avancer Homes is seeking a dependable Full-Time Maintenance employee to assist with maintaining our residential homes, day program, offices, grounds, equipment, and other Agency property. This position performs routine and preventive maintenance, responds to repair needs, and helps maintain a safe and functional environment for the individuals we serve and our employees.

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance requests and work orders.
• Perform general repairs, including light plumbing, carpentry, drywall/plaster repair, painting, and minor mechanical work.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with preventive maintenance of heating and cooling equipment within training and authorization.
• Maintain Agency grounds and exterior areas.
• Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas.
• Respond to urgent or emergency maintenance needs as assigned.
• Travel between Avancer Homes, Genesis DTC, and other Agency locations as needed.
• Maintain required maintenance and inspection documentation.
• Participate in an on-call schedule when assigned.
• Follow all Agency safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, property maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general maintenance and basic repair work.
• Ability to safely use common hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must successfully complete applicable background and employment requirements.
• When assigned to drive an Agency vehicle, must meet Agency driver's-license, driving-record, and automobile insurance eligibility requirements.

Schedule
Full-time. Schedule may include regular business hours as well as occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency/on-call coverage based on Agency needs.
