We are currently seeking 1 Part-Time (as needed) reliable, and hardworking Maintenance Worker to join our team.

Job Description: As a Maintenance/Dish Pit Worker, you will play a vital role in keeping our store well-kept, organized, safe, and running smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the store, including the kitchen and dishwashing areas, as well as assisting cashiers with grocery bagging during peak store times.

Pay Rate: $17.95 - $20.00 based on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains a clean store, washes all dishes in the dish pit as needed
• Bags for the cashiers during peak times in the store
• Possess ability to multi-task and work other areas
• Follows the opening and closing procedures
• Cleans cases and shelves, mops and sweeps the floor of the store as needed
• Operates back room equipment including the pallet jack
• Assists in other duties, as assigned
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on occasion

Additional Expectations:

• Keeps store in clean, orderly condition during shift, sees that hazardous conditions are cleaned up
• If a potential shoplifter is identified, uses CB to advise store manager
• Protects safety of self, co-workers, and Spangler’s Market patrons at all times
• Reports safety-related accidents and incident at once to supervisor
• Follows all company and safety policies
• Fulfills sanitation and safety guidelines
• Assists in other duties as assigned
• Attends staff meetings
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
