Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Person

Job Summary: The Maintenance Person will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of the hotel’s facilities, ensuring that all guest areas and equipment are in excellent working condition. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to their experience.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to address maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, requesting orders as needed.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of hotel events and functions as required.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and work areas.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in maintenance or general repair work, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
