CNC Coolant Technician

Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and managing coolant systems in a precision machining environment to ensure optimal machine performance, part quality, and equipment reliability. Duties include checking coolant concentration and pH levels, maintaining proper fluid levels, monitoring contamination, cleaning and servicing coolant tanks and filtration systems, and replenishing or replacing coolant as needed. Works closely with CNC machinists and maintenance personnel to maintain coolant quality, support production efficiency, prevent corrosion and bacterial growth, and ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental standards.Must pull coolant samples, test samples, record findings, and document findings.

• Must be able to draw, sample, and complete tests for PH, concentrate and bacteria levels.
• Must complete tests on the concentrate levels of the wash station on the Hub Line daily
• Must be able to schedule and maintain cleaning for all machine coolant tanks and documentation.
• Must be able to pull the machines apart, clean, and complete any general maintenance needed such as changing of hoses, coolant filters and the filters on the control panels
• Must be able to set up, maintain, and communicate to off shifts the rotation of the oil skimmers.
• Will be responsible for maintaining, and the ordering of all inventory levels of raw coolant, hydraulic oils, waylubes, and comrust.
• Will be responsible for all of handling of the waste coolant
• Must have some working knowledge of how to turn on the CNC

• Ability to use coolant testing equipment and follow documented procedures.
• Ability to safely handle chemicals and operate coolant-maintenance equipment.

Pay Frequency:

• Bi weekly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 - $25.00 per hour
