MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

An exciting opportunity exists to join our team as Maintenance Coordinator, playing an important role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently and smoothly. This hands-on varied position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical problem-solving, takes pride in maintaining facilities and equipment to a high standard, and can confidently coordinate maintenance activities and contractors across a busy working environment.

About the Role

As our Maintenance Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day operation of our winery site and vineyards by coordinating and carrying out a broad range of maintenance, repair and infrastructure activities. From planning preventative maintenance and managing contractors to undertaking general repairs and hands-on maintenance, you will help ensure our equipment, facilities and infrastructure remain safe, reliable and well maintained.

This is a diverse role where no two days will be quite the same, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to make a practical difference across the business.

Key Responsibilities include:

·         Planning, prioritising and scheduling maintenance activities

·         Developing and maintaining the CMMS and preventative maintenance plan

·         Coordinating routine and preventative maintenance schedules

·         Undertaking general repairs, maintenance and labouring activities

·         Liaising with contractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and organise specialised works

·         Coordinating and managing contractors while onsite

·         Monitoring maintenance priorities and managing workflow

·         Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with workplace requirements

About You

We are looking for a capable, practical and organised person who enjoys variety and takes a proactive approach to getting things done. You will be comfortable balancing hands-on maintenance work with planning, coordination and contractor management.

Ideally, you will bring:

·         A trade qualification

·         Maintenance experience is preferred, but not essential

·         Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise competing tasks

·         A hands-on approach and confidence undertaking general repairs and maintenance

·         Good problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative

·         Confidence working with contractors, suppliers and internal teams

·         An understanding of preventative maintenance practices and maintenance scheduling

·         Good computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate maintenance records

·         A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

·         The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

·         A flexible, positive attitude and willingness to assist across different areas when required

Experience within a winery, vineyard, agricultural, manufacturing or similarly operational environment would be highly regarded.
