Maintenance Crew

About the role

Maintenance Crew position at a hotel involving daily inspection and maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment, attending to maintenance requests and repair issues, and performing various maintenance and repair works to ensure hotel rooms, public areas and facilities are maintained in good condition.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily inspection and maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment
• Attend to maintenance requests and repair issues reported by hotel departments
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, painting and general repair works
• Ensure hotel rooms, public areas and facilities are maintained in good condition
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or facility breakdowns promptly
• Assist in monitoring water, electricity and other utility systems
• Maintain proper records of maintenance work and repairs carried out
• Ensure the maintenance area, tools and equipment are kept clean and organized
• Follow hotel safety procedures and ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely

About you

• Previous experience in hotel maintenance, building maintenance or a related field is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general maintenance works
• Able to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs independently
• Responsible, hardworking and reliable
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willing to learn and take on different maintenance tasks
