We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team of LTC professionals in Westchester County, NY. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance and housekeeping staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art facilities, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all maintenance and housekeeping staff, including scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage vendors and capital projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
• Ensure life safety compliance, including fire systems and emergency preparedness
• Maintain HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning
• Purchasing and distribution of supplies for designated services
• Assure infection control policies and program are adhered to
• Maintain facility in good repair, fix equipment and furnishings
• Lead quality assurance programs to ensure high standards of service
• Be on-call 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to respond to facility needs

Requirements:

• Must have experience in a healthcare setting
• Must have 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance and EVS leadership
• Experience in DOH survey process
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Life Safety codes, NYS Department of Health regulations, and working knowledge in operations, maintenance, and housekeeping services
