Maintenance Director

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Man to join our team at Quail Meadow Assisted Living and Seasons Assisted Living. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility, which provides essential care and support to elderly residents. Your primary goal will be to maintain a safe, functional, and comfortable environment that promotes the well-being of our residents and supports the daily operations of our staff.

Duties

1. Perform major and minor repairs of the building.

2. Provide dignity and privacy for all residents. Maintain resident's rights.

3. Maintain the cleanliness of the building

4. Do weekly walk arounds with the Executive Director.

5. Maintain all maintenance logs.

6. Perform the day-to-day repairs and general maintenance, improvement, and preventative maintenance of the building, equipment and grounds.

7. Help to arrange for and manage repairs by outside maintenance and construction services.

8. Must be available to take after hour calls.

9. Must secure all chemicals so that residents don’t have access to them.

10. Must comply with rules and regulations regarding residents' rights.

11. Protect the confidentiality of resident information.

12. Adhere to the standards of dress and appearance and hygiene of the community.

13. Be able to function independently.

14. Knowledge to be able to repiar/flip a residential room in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Proven management experience leading facilities or maintenance teams in an industrial or commercial setting
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in reporting and documentation purposes
• Willingness and ability to work with the elderly.
• Perform reasonable tasks as assigned by the Executive Director
• Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills for team coordination and reporting purposes

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
