Maintenance Director

Complete Care | New Jersey Complete Care is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance, safety, and overall upkeep of a skilled nursing facility in New Jersey. We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including Life Safety Code requirements.
• Manage facility inspections, equipment maintenance, and emergency preparedness procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and outside contractors.
• Maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to address maintenance needs and ensure regulatory readiness.
• Manage maintenance budgets, supplies, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous Maintenance Director or supervisory experience required.
• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code, OSHA, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize projects and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
