Job Title: Maintenance Electrical Assistant Technician

Job Location(s): Telibong Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Tuaran, Sabah

Job Type: Full Time

Number of openings: 1 Pax

Working Days & Hours: Monday – Friday / 8.00 am – 5.00 pm

Job Requirements:

• SPM/SPMV qualification or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.;
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in electrical maintenance, control systems, or related fields;
• Good knowledge in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair works;
• Hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical motors, pumps, MCC panels, switchboards, generators, and control systems.
• Familiar with Generator Set (Genset) operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting;
• Ability to speak and write both English and Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage;
• Able to work independently, good hand on skill, troubleshooting skills and work effectively as part of a team.

Job Scopes

• Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) for electrical equipment and installations;
• Perform inspection, testing and troubleshooting of motors, pumps, switchboards, MCC panels and related electrical systems;
• Attend to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance works when required;
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards while handling Electrical equipment;
• Maintain maintenance records, reports and related documentation;
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, equipment failures or safety hazards to the immediate supervisor;
• Perform any other duties or tasks assigned and provide daily report as required to immediate superiors;
• To comply with all requirements of ISO standards, standard operating procedures, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
