Maintenance Electrician

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, switches, sockets, lighting, and distribution boards.
• Attend to electrical breakdowns and resolve maintenance complaints promptly.
• Maintain electrical equipment, motors, pumps, geysers, exhaust fans, and other hotel electrical appliances.
• Inspect and maintain DG sets, electrical panels, UPS systems, and emergency lighting, as assigned.
• Respond promptly to electrical complaints from guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, offices, and other hotel areas.
• Assist in the maintenance of HVAC equipment, water pumps, and other engineering systems as required.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and ensure proper isolation of power before repairs.
• Maintain maintenance registers, breakdown reports, preventive maintenance checklists, and records of spare parts.
• Coordinate with the Engineering and Housekeeping departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
• Monitor electrical consumption and report unusual power usage or faults to the supervisor.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with applicable safety standards and hotel maintenance procedures.
• Support emergency maintenance activities and perform other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance; hotel or hospitality experience preferred.

The position is based at Joshimath, Uttarakhand. The employee must be willing to work in a hotel environment, follow rotational shifts where required, and attend to urgent maintenance issues.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
