You’ll join a hands-on maintenance environment supporting safe, reliable and efficient production across our timber operations. Day to day, you’ll work across breakdowns, preventative and planned maintenance, fault finding, controls, equipment upgrades and project work.

For experienced electricians with broader technical capability, there is also scope to contribute to maintenance planning, reliability improvements, technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive hourly rates, aligned to experience, skills and qualifications
  • Roster options available, including day shift and rotating day/afternoon shift arrangements
  • No night shift on our current rotating roster
  • Overtime opportunities from time to time
  • Opportunity to work across and collaborate with our local Timber sites
  • Exposure to a broad range of industrial plant, equipment and electrical systems
  • Opportunities to develop your technical capability through upskilling and ongoing learning
  • Supportive, practical and team-focused maintenance environment
  • Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidates

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your experience and the requirements of the site, your responsibilities may include:

  • Carrying out hands-on electrical maintenance, repairs and controls work across plant and equipment
  • Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults and responding to breakdowns
  • Completing preventative, planned, scheduled and unplanned maintenance
  • Supporting electrical installation, equipment upgrades and project work
  • Inspecting plant and equipment, identifying issues and recommending improvements
  • Ensuring electrical safety and compliance across plant and equipment
  • Completing maintenance work orders and records using our CMMS
  • Contributing to equipment reliability, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
  • Assisting with the scoping and planning of electrical maintenance activities
  • Contributing technical knowledge to site projects, SOPs and other maintenance documentation where appropriate

About You

You’ll hold an electrical trade qualification and unrestricted electrical licence, along with a practical, safety-focused approach to your work.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with:

  • Industrial, manufacturing or maintenance electrical experience – preferred, but not essential
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving capability
  • PLC, automation and/or control circuit knowledge or experience
  • Experience with CMMS systems, ideally MEX
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a maintenance team
  • A current Driver’s Licence

Additional post-trade or advanced electrical qualifications, including automation, instrumentation, PLC, controls or related disciplines, will be highly regarded.

Unrestricted working rights in Australia are required for these positions.
