Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and reliability of automated baggage handling systems and related equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities

·        Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities for automated baggage handling systems, conveyors, and associated equipment.

·        Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability and minimise equipment downtime.

·        Conduct regular inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

·        Identify equipment failures and system faults, determine root causes, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

·        Prepare maintenance schedules and coordinate manpower, tools, spare parts, and resources required for maintenance activities.

·        Review maintenance work orders, service reports, inspection records, and other technical documentation to ensure accurate records are maintained.

·        Provide technical support during system breakdowns and respond promptly to operational issues.

·        Coordinate with customers, project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure maintenance and technical issues are resolved efficiently.

·        Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and within the required timeframe.

·        Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety procedures, customer requirements, and applicable workplace safety regulations.

·        Prepare maintenance reports and provide regular updates to Management and customers on equipment condition, breakdowns, maintenance activities, and improvement initiatives.

·        Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualifications & Requirements

·        Diploma​ in Mechanical, Electrical or any Engineering

·        Fluency in English and Chinese, both written and oral to liaise with associates

·        Good analytical reasoning, theoretical approach and communication skills

·        Excellent interpersonal and Communication skills

·        Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision

·        Experience in technical and administration documentation

·        Willingness to travel and work on overseas projects is mandatory.
