Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that machinery, equipment, and production systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. The role combines preventive maintenance, technical troubleshooting, equipment performance analysis, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and maximize operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance
• Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, servicing, cleaning, lubrication, and component replacements to prevent unexpected equipment failures.
• Identify potential equipment issues early and take proactive corrective measures to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs
• Diagnose and identify the root causes of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and other equipment failures.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective repairs to restore operations with minimal disruption.
• Apply systematic troubleshooting techniques to resolve recurring equipment problems and improve equipment reliability.
• System Optimization & Reliability
• Monitor equipment performance, maintenance records, and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Optimize machinery and maintenance processes to improve equipment efficiency, reliability, and overall productivity.
• Recommend technical improvements that reduce downtime, maintenance costs, energy consumption, and other operational expenses.
• Continuously evaluate equipment performance and implement measures that enhance asset life and operational efficiency.

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
