About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Fitter/Engineer. The ideal candidate enjoys coming up with innovative solutions, making improvements and loves a challenge. When you work at Pultron, your opinion will matter, and you’ll be able to contribute on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities will include:

• To develop, manufacture and repair as necessary all machinery at Pultron

• Produce functional parts, assemblies and equipment from drawings

• Liaising with R&D staff as to functionality and design of new processing machinery

• Operation of relevant metal working machinery to make mechanical parts

• Diagnosing and trouble-shooting and servicing of new and existing machinery

• Ensuring tools, equipment and other components are treated in a professional manner

• Keeping own work space and general workshop tidy, plus ensuring personal tools are secure

Skills/Requirements:

• Tertiary Engineering qualification (B.E Mechanical or similar)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Practical understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drive systems
• Personal organisation skills that can juggle multiple tasks and conflicting priorities
• Project Management experience
• A team player who can play a part in large scale projects
• Intermediate to advanced skill in Excel & Word

This is a permanent position working 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
