Maintenance Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production machinery and equipment to ensure stable and efficient operation.
• Take responsibility for Coil Winding machines, production equipment, and related automation systems.
• Analyze and resolve machine problems and breakdowns to reduce machine downtime and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and analyze Machine Efficiency, Yield, Downtime, MTBF, and MTTR, and implement improvement actions.
• Develop, implement, and control Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans, including follow-up and evaluation of maintenance effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain Machine Standards, PM Standards, Work Instructions, and Maintenance Checklists.
• Manage Spare Parts, Tooling, and Maintenance Equipment to ensure availability and readiness for production.
• Plan and implement Machine Improvement and Cost Reduction Projects to improve productivity and reduce operating costs.
• Support NPI / NPD, Production Ramp-up, and New Product Launch activities by ensuring machine and equipment readiness.
• Lead, supervise, and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians, including team skill development.
• Prepare maintenance reports, analyze performance results, and present improvement plans to management.
• Coordinate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, Safety, and external suppliers to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Cleanroom requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Maintenance Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Automation Engineering, Machine Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in manufacturing industries such as Electronics, Electrical, Automotive, HDD, PCB, or other high-volume manufacturing is preferred.

• Experience with Coil Winding, Motor, Transformer, or Winding Machines will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance.

• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, Servo Motor, Inverter, Sensors, Pneumatic Systems, and Electrical Control Systems.

• Able to read and understand Electrical Drawings, Mechanical Drawings, and Machine Layouts.

• Knowledge and experience in Machine Installation, Machine Modification, Equipment Improvement, and Machine Troubleshooting.

• Strong skills in Project Management, Cost Reduction, and Continuous Improvement.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel for reporting and data analysis.

• Knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, PLC Programming, or Electrical Design Software will be an advantage.
