To support their success, we are looking for a Motivated Trade Certified Engineer who has:

·         Completed an apprenticeship and can work independently.

·         General machining capability (lathe & Mill).

·         MIG or TIG welding experience (would be a bonus)

·         Familiarity with computerised maintenance systems with the ability to continually strive for and facilitate site improvements.

· An inclusive approach towards staff and sub-contractors with the ability to engage and communicate at all levels.

 Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will operate within an ISO quality focussed culture and enjoy working unsupervised to find the best way to solve a problem.

Ideally you will have experience in a high-speed, PLC controlled high volume manufacturing environment (possibly medical, plastics, or food packaging) and be confident in hydraulic / pneumatic & sensor troubleshooting, pump overhauls, bearing replacement and fabrication etc

Daily activities offer excellent variety, balancing preventive maintenance and direct manufacturing support during breakdowns. Key responsibilities also include capital upgrades and the installation of new equipment, including robotics and automation systems.
