Maintenance Engineer

Core Responsibilities

• Asset Reliability: Execute and refine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) schedules for continuous food processing equipment (extruders, industrial ovens, fryers) and automated packing lines (Delta/SCARA robots, multi-head weighers).
• Troubleshooting & RCA: Lead immediate technical response to electrical, mechanical, and automation breakdowns. Conduct structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical failures to prevent recurrence.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion TPM initiatives across the plant. Support equipment upgrades, line layout modifications, and process automation projects to enhance overall efficiency.
• Inventory & Spares: Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) inventory, ensuring critical spare parts are available while optimizing dynamic reorder points.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to local HSE regulations, food safety standards, and LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on maintenance engineering experience within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems, pneumatics, and high-speed rotary/packaging machinery. Strong understanding of industrial operational frameworks (TPM, 5S).
• Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams during high-pressure breakdown scenarios. Excellent communication and reporting skills.
