Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
• Monitor machine performance and minimize machine downtime.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Identify recurring breakdowns and implement root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth machine operations.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports and spare-parts requirements.
• Ensure proper functioning of motors, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, control panels and industrial machinery.
• Support installation, commissioning and modification of machines/equipment.
• Follow plant safety, quality and maintenance standards.
