We're recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established international engineering organisation supporting customers across the Benelux region and France. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical, electrical or electromechanical background who enjoys hands-on engineering and wants to develop their career within a business known for investing heavily in training, development and long-term progression. You'll work directly with customers, carrying out planned maintenance, supporting equipment installations and helping ensure critical machinery remains operational. The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting customers on-site through preventative maintenance and technical support activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on customer equipment.
• Supporting installations and commissioning activities.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Following technical manuals, drawings and service procedures.
• Working closely with customers to deliver a high level of service.
• Adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a field-based role offering significant variety, exposure to different customer environments and the opportunity to develop a broad range of technical skills.

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical background.
• Previous maintenance, installation or engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
• Good IT and reporting skills.
• Full driving licence.
• A flexible approach to travel.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Desirable

• Previous field service experience.
• Manufacturing or industrial engineering background.
• Apprenticeship, vocational qualification or technical diploma.
• Experience working directly with customers.
