Maintenance Engineer

Ø Team Coordination & Planning

Ø Routine Duties:-

· Follow and execute daily work plan as per machine maintenance checklist.

· Checking of Breakdown/intimation slips.

· Check Shift Log Books and solve repetitive problems accordingly.

· Regularly preparing of why- why analysis for major breakdowns.

· ERP Entries analysis of Daily utilities- Water, FO, Electricity, Readings.

· Responsible for assisting the Senior Manager-Maintenance on decision on Workshop Requirements, Machine Requirements, New purchases etc.

· Oversee operation and maintenance of utilities such as compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, transformers, DG sets, fire hydrant systems, and electrical panels.

· Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.

· Ensure proper upkeep of plant buildings, roads, drainage systems, and infrastructure.

Ø Preventive Maintenance:-

· Supervise activities & operations and Maintenance of all Utility Machines like Boilers, Cranes, Compressors, Chillers, cooling towers, pumps as well as plant machinery.

· Ensure the proper following of PM Schedule

· Ensure availability of material for PM.

Ø Projects:-

· Responsible for Installation of Machines for new projects/expansions.

· Erection and Commissioning of Projects.

· Evaluation of Project Budgets

Ø Safety & Compliance:-

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety improvements.
• Facilitate machine safety audits and closure of audit observations.
• Ensure work permit systems and contractor safety requirements are followed.

Ø Vendor & Contractor Management:-

• Identify and develop maintenance service providers and contractors.
• Review technical quotations and recommend vendor selection.
• Monitor vendor performance and service quality.
• Ensure timely AMC renewals and service contracts.

Ø Budget & Cost Control:-

• Prepare annual maintenance budgets.
• Control maintenance expenditure and optimise spare inventory.
• Track maintenance KPIs and cost-saving projects.
• Justify capital expenditure (CAPEX) requirements.

Ø Documentation & Reporting:-

• Maintain equipment history and maintenance records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and maintenance standards.
• Support ISO, customer, and statutory audits with required documentation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
