Division : Corporate Business Delivery Centre

In this position, you will:

• Manage and oversee Transport / Backhaul domain System or Network Management System (NMS), Experience Management Systems (EMS), and Business Operations Support System (BOSS) System Support and Maintenance Services activities, ensuring full compliance with contract Service Levels.
• Take full responsibility for system maintenance issues, from fault receipt through to resolution and closure, ensuring all Critical, Major, Minor and General Inquiry faults are resolved within required timeframes.
• Provide 7×24 on-site technical support for system incidents escalated from Maintenance Support Specialists and/or the client, including complex system failures, database issues, interface integration problems, ticketing system faults, and reporting system errors.
• Identify and propose resolutions for all system technical problems, including root cause analysis of recurring system faults, performance degradation, capacity bottlenecks, and cross-subsystem integration issues.
• Manage system upgrades, patch deployments, feature enhancements, and capacity expansions.
• Ensure system documentation compliance including incident records, maintenance reports, system configuration records, user account management records, OAM procedures, and monthly maintenance services reports.
• Document system incidents, maintenance actions, and ensure compliance with OAM procedures; maintain accurate records of system configurations and user accounts.
• Oversee system configuration management including system parameters, user accounts, alarm thresholds, and monitoring configurations, with post-implementation verification.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to System Maintenance Support Specialists and client In-house Maintenance Team, building tier-1 and tier-2 network management technical capability through training and mentorship programs.

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

• Possess at least one Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Telecommunications or Information Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of operation, administration and maintenance hands-on experience in deploying 4G or 5G technologies, including optical fibre transmission, microwave systems, and IP/MPLS routing.
• Good Command of written & spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to identify root causes and propose effective resolutionsfor complex technical problems.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Strong knowledge of transport network or system Operations & Maintenance (O&M) procedures and Service Level requirements.
• Proven experience managing and overseeing network / system maintenance activities, including remedial and preventive maintenance programs for networks.
• Experienced in managing documentation, maintenance reporting
• Expertise in transport architecture, SDH/OTN, microwave radio systems, IP/MPLS networks, and optical fibre transmission systems.
• Proficient in system upgrades, capacity expansion planning, circuit provisioning management, and cross-party coordination with multiple parties.
• Ability to provide 7×24 on-site technical support for escalated incidents and guide Maintenance Support Specialists and in-house staff in complex troubleshooting.
