Maintenance Engineer

• Responsible for maintenance, repairing, improvement all machine and facility equipment systems for Boon Siew Honda (BSH) plant. This will be accomplished through collaboration, coordination and communication with all section staff and associates.
• The goal of the activity is to ensure all machine / equipment inside BSH plant has proper maintenance and ensure in good condition. Provide guidance to below subordinate during/whenever perform task/job given.
• To respond immediately to equipment/facility & power supply breakdowns for respective assigned section, investigate equip failures, diagnose faulty operation and to make recommendations for improvement project to prolong machine life span.
• To execute & monitor in-house or outsource Preventive & Corrective Maintenance work for respective assigned section to improve production machine & reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns.
• To collaborate with engineering technical section for new equipment installation or modification of existing equipment.
• Assist spare-part PIC to ensure all spare and consumable parts in sufficient level and inform PIC whenever there is spare or consumable part shortage.
• Perform daily, monthly and yearly schedule for monitoring, trouble and preventive report & make reflection to improve overall reliability.
• Assist engineering technical section to comply with mechanical, electrical, and safety standards for new installation and modification of existing equipment.
• Responsible to ensure safety by following Safety Standard properly & responding to any safety issues for respective assigned section.
• Responsible for ensuring 5S and housekeeping of working area, equipment, store & tools in order and make recommendation for improvement.
• Responsible for alerting immediate superior of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place for that.
• Undertake any other projects, tasks and duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. Prefer Junior level with 1-2 years of experiences. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Able to read and work on engineering drawing (AutoCAD/Revit).
• Able to work on PLC (Siemens/Mitsubishi/Allen Bradley's)
• Willing to relocate to Batu Kawan, Penang.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
