Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance-Mechanical Engineerto manage and maintain mechanical equipment and utilities in our chemical manufacturing plant. The candidate should have hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment used in chemical/process industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to ensure minimum production downtime.
• Maintain and repair:
• Pumps, Vacuum Pumps and Valves
• SS / MS / Lead-Lined Vessels
• Cooling Towers and Chilling Systems
• Boilers
• Hot Oil Units / Thermic Fluid Systems
• Inspect equipment condition and identify potential mechanical failures.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments for planned and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists and equipment history.
• Coordinate with external vendors/contractors for specialized repair and maintenance work.
• Ensure availability of critical mechanical spares and support maintenance planning.
• Follow plant safety procedures and ensure safe execution of maintenance activities.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability of plant equipment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of relevant maintenance experience in a chemical/process manufacturing plant.
• Good understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment will be preferred.
