Maintenance Engineer

Coordinate for activities related to Preventive Maintenance and Planned Maintenance schedules of complete Utility Section.

Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, scheduled maintenance and breakdown maintenance

Responsible for full providing optimum support to production department towards availability of utilities

Responsible for trouble free operation & maintenance of Boiler, Diesel Generator Sets, Air Compressors, Water Supply lines.

Maintains job history cards for all equipment's in the section

Ensures the maintenance of pressure vessels, lifting tools and tackles

Assists in installation and commissioning of new machines and equipments

Coordinates with Boiler inspectorate and ensure availability of operational certificate for operation of boiler and pressure lines in power plant

Monitors and analyzes reports on preventive maintenance; conditioning monitoring; resource consumption

Reviews and analyzes daily breakdown reports and takes corrective actions, wherever necessary

Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operational efficiency, minimize operating costs, and optimal utilization of labour and materials

Ensure adherence to safety and environmental norms in carrying out maintenance activities.

Preparation of monthly reports and update of records

Direct responsibility for maintaining the required inventory for spare parts.

Direct responsibility for the execution of all engineering projects.

Direct responsibility for developing vendors for spares & contractors for maintenance services.

Recognising training need.

Overall responsibility for all maintenance activities.

Supervise the maintenance processes and regulate schedules as per requirement.

Keeping the team motivated.

Direct responsibility for control of annual maintenance schedule.

Direct responsibility for safety of personnel, facilities & equipment.

Direct responsibility for maintaining the required inventory for spare parts.

Direct responsibility for achieving the maintenance targets.

Direct responsibility for allocation of available resources including manpower & achieving the budgeted manpower budget.

Overall responsibility for all maintenance activities including annual maintenance contracts

Direct responsibility to implement the safety systems in the plant area as well as environment.

Direct responsibility for initiating small group activities & continuous improvements.

Analyze and record instrument readings and defects.

Repair defects and take corrective action.
