Maintenance Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs for machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Develop and improve maintenance procedures, schedules, and SOPs
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of maintenance materials
• Supervise and guide maintenance technicians in daily maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance work
• Coordinate with production team to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to operations
• Liaise with external vendors/contractors for equipment servicing, repairs, or upgrades
• Prepare maintenance reports and documentation for management review

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or automation systems
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Good leadership skills with the ability to guide a maintenance team

Pay: RM3,600.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
