Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer to support equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. The successful candidate will work with operations and engineering teams to maintain equipment performance, minimize downtime, and ensure that machinery and systems operate safely and efficiently.

Candidates with relevant engineering knowledge, practical problem-solving skills, and an interest in equipment reliability are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for machinery, equipment, and engineering systems.
• Diagnose equipment faults and identify the root causes of mechanical, electrical, or operational problems within the scope of the role.
• Carry out inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment performance checks.
• Monitor equipment condition and recommend measures to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, service records, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with operations teams, technicians, contractors, and equipment suppliers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and modification projects where required.
• Review recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure maintenance activities follow applicable workplace safety procedures, technical standards, and company requirements.
• Assist with spare-parts planning, maintenance resource coordination, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and operational performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance personnel where appropriate.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline, depending on the role requirements.
• Relevant experience in equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or engineering support is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and a strong interest in maintenance engineering are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of maintenance principles, equipment troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems, condition monitoring, or reliability improvement methods is an advantage.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to organize maintenance tasks and respond to operational priorities.
